If you're unsure which Vaquero ® model you have, the Old Model has a serial number with a 2-digit prefix, and the New Model has a serial number with a 3-digit prefix (for example, 512-48556). You can order grips for your Old Model Vaquero ® on the Ruger ® S-A Revolver Grips page of this site. They will not fit the Old Model Vaquero ®. The grips on this page fit the Ruger®* New Vaquero® and all Ruger ® single-action revolvers that have the XR3 grip frame.
